Sixty-nine individuals participated in our study and took our survey. Of those sixty-nine, about 50% of the students were Juniors. Reviewing our collected data concluded the Authoritarian parental approach impacted the child’s education more significantly than the Authoritative or Permissive. The children’s GPA of that group ranged from a 3.0-4.0. Contrary to these results, previous research concluded the Authoritative parenting style as the most effective to a child’s academic performance. Consequently, our hypothesis was rejected.
